One of These Days

One of these days I will have this kid. I am anxious and very ready. Although it would be nice to wait a little later in the week because Ryan gets paid Thursday and we are in desperate need of grocery shopping. Besides that, I feel like we are basically ready for Eladie's arrival. I started gathering a bag together to take to the hospital, Ryan got the car seat out.


Here's an update!

*How far along?: few days shy of 38 weeks

*How big is your baby?: The doc said she was guessing a little under 6 lbs.

*Total weight gain?: 20 pounds...I'm 10 pounds less with this one than with Emery....good news!

*Sex: Girl

*Maternity clothes: Ugh, I totally feel like I've outgrown even these.

*Stretch marks: Nope! 

*Movement: She's taking up so much room now, I have to concentrate on her to feel her moving half the time. 

*Sleep: Sleep some, pee some. Repeat.

*Best moment this week: Car seat is in! 

*Food cravings: Nothing in particular.

*Labor signs: I have contractions everyday and I'm 2cm dilated, 60% effaced.

*Belly button in or out: Still WAAAAY out.

*What I miss: Laying on my stomach!!!

*What I'm looking forward to: Having this baby at any time!

I feel as if there's not a whole lot of new things going on in the McMillian house. Emery has got the hang of the big girl bed and we've had a few successful pees on the "potty chair" but I'm not worried about pushing it with such a big change coming her way very soon. Emery also has been into singing ALL the time. Some of her favorites are Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, the theme to The Wonder Pets and as of recent, Jesus Loves Me. She also digs singing the alphabet, and she gets the beginning and the end, but some of the letters in the middle get a bit jumbled. Super cute.
